The best investment banking institution is one that has a high number of analysts and has a large alumni network within the finance industry. These are usually called schools of target, and the large bulge bracket banks typically offer positions to students from these schools to join their analyst programs.

In terms of particular schools, Ivy league schools like Harvard and Yale are among the most well regarded for their capacity to produce investment bankers (although this is an oversimplification).
